Well as my inaugural post I am excited to get started on this journey into the geeky world of Warhammer 40K.
I should start by giving a little explanation as to what Atlantis Gaming Group is. We are a small group of friends and family that have been playing table top and online games for many years together. Consisting of currently around half a dozen of us we play on a regular basis . . . something!
Currently our game of choice is Warhammer 40K, which is the reason for this blog.
In the past we have played Vampire, DnD, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer Fantasy RPG, Warhammer Fantasy, Exhalted and many, many others! And that is just the table top games.
Many of us have been and are still active in many online games as well. Team Fortress 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2, WoW, Counter-Strike, Half-life, and many more here as well.
For now though this blog will be the focus of our days in Warhammer 40K with a few side trips into some of the other games we play.
My hope is to post our battle reports, articles on our modeling/painting adventures and anything else game related that we are excited about.
I am sure you will see more than me posting here as well. I know one of our most active members (GuinnessGremlin) will probably contribute to the articles as well as many of our other members too.
So I hope you find something interesting to read here on a regular basis and I hope to run in to many of you as I make my way around the many game fan sites that we all so love!
