The power of pain (SM v Chaos)(1000 pts)

The Chaplain looked over the horizon, he had heard reports that this area had recently suffered from rifts in the warp. Reports had pinpointed four locations where the powers of the warp seemed especially potent.

The region was relatively sparse: only a few forests and hills, A lone plasma processing station towered nearest his troops on the east, to the south a great ridge and a thick woods, an old abandoned mine field just to the west. To the north west was a hill filled with rocky terrain and another forest, but neither of these should pose any difficulty to his troops.

He could sense the forces of chaos nearby, the corruption that needed to be cleansed. He could sense the rift, held by the four ritual points. Continue reading

Blood bowl-Semi Finals

And so the season is winding down. We at A.G.G. would like to proudly announce that one of our own is in the semi finals. Only two more games to go and AgnosticGod has succeeded in sneaking his rats past the eyes of the Nuffle officials. (He won a game without scoring a single point.

My own Lizardmen ended up narrowly losing to some High Elves, but cinched their doom by killing the start runner and then on the final play of the game my skink blitzed into a high elf defender, clearing the way for him to run the ball to the goal line to tie it where the elves would be sorely outmanned. Unfortunately the skink missed his “Push” and fell flat on his face on the goal line. In the mean time the elf he blitzed didn’t get back up off the turf…

As for the Dwarves, they beat my Lizards, which was enough to pull me out of the finals.
