Ok, so it’s been a long time since I’ve been on this board with an update.
Squig hoppers is great fun, however we’ve been busy playing things like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Starcraft. It’s taken us out of the element of non digital gaming with the exception of Atlantis: The Journey. The group had a run in with Nurgle recently overall, and so even those events have slowed too.
The story thus far in Atlantis:
The players, a swiss guard, a secret agent type, and a tank of a fighter named Donk were aboard a plane flying over the Bermuda triangle when a freak storm ripped them out of the sky. They had dreams filled with green wisps and water.
When they woke up, the players found themselves on a beach, their prior trappings were in shambles. If it wasn’t for a passing merchant named Delfina the gents would be in trouble. She set them up with some funds and told them it was a loan to be repayed. She also gave them a couple of promising places to find employment, The Siren or The Salty Sailor.
The players opted to go to the Siren, an upper working class style tavern where they landed a job hunting boars.
On the hunt they ran into a ranger who directed the city slickers to a place to find the animals. Without too much difficulty the crew dispatched a boar and completed their mission.
The following week they played matchmaker with the hunter and a waitress named Helen who had an intimidating father, joined the Ravens guild on a visit to the Salty Sailor. During all this they also discovered the Cult of Abraham, a secret sect of folks like them, who had come from the other world and are making a living in Atlantis.
Donk is eagerly awaiting his opportunity to join the gladiators guild. The next day shall be interesting.
