This week we had a violence filled night with some uncharacteristic B style action sans B. Here’s how it went down:
Pre-session:
Sasha: Sasha got his report from Apex labs with a list of places that would carry the paper and products that were found on the note.
Mike: He had repaired his car and had a few odd jobs come in during the down time.
Jack: Huntington contacted Jack and stated that he appreciated his play style. He looked forward to more games. He also verified that he did have the money wired to his account.
Malik: Was updated on events, he stated for the night he was attending the McGuinty viewing and attending to business there.
Tim: Augustus Richmark called Tim and told him he appreciated the vote of confidence. Augustus stated that Tim had a bright future ahead of him and offered him a position in the Sanctum. Tim also did further work finding holes in the Apex network and putting tracers on it.
Scott: The Sheriff visited and made Scott aware that his current sleeping arrangements wouldn’t be adequate. (since last game) He relocated and slept in Tim’s back yard.
B: It was assumed last game this session would be spent working on the special request gun.
The Game:
The coterie decided to meet at the Golddigger. There Mike met a dancer that looked very familiar. He found out it was the girl he had saved at the beginning of his training for the Ordo Dracul. She had spent some time in a mental ward and was recently released. She dances now because she doesn’t really have any skill sets and it’s good money. He took her up on a dance, but she ended up not being able to handle the revisit of the past and started crying.
Meanwhile, Tim was minding his own business when someone bumped his seat. It ended up being one of his old bullies. The bully started trying to pick on Tim again, but Tim popped nightmare. The guy, a 280 pound bruiser, fled in horror; Tim followed. The rest of the members saw him leave, with the exception of Mike, and followed.
The bully ducked into The Garage and Tim followed in hot pursuit. Sasha kept watch out front with Jack. Matt, following pursuit inside, recognized Barbie in the crowd. Barbie also noticed him and they played a cat and mouse game while Tim followed the bully into the bathrooms.
The bully, still under the effects of Nightmare, closed the stall door. Tim kicked in the door and slashed at the bully with his father’s antique straight edged razor. The bully was cornered but somehow the razor just fell short. Entering panic mode the bully tried to push his way out of the stall. Tim found himself quickly overpowered despite his supernatural strength. In desperation Tim tried to bite the bully. The bully fled after a scuffle, leaving a bloodied Tim in the stall.
Elsewhere, Scott followed Barbie out of the bar, or someone he perceived to be Barbie, only to find an empty alleyway. He decided to go left after examining both sides of the alley. Rounding the corner, the blond haired woman appeared in front of him and said “Sit kitten”. Scott was forced to comply as he had been dominated. It appeared what he originally thought was a blood doll was something a bit more. She slipped around the corner and he broke out of his entrancement. Rushing around the corner to find her, he found that she once again had evaded him.
Scott entered the Garage again and tried to seek out Tim, finding him in the bathroom cleaning up after the damage he had taken. Mike, having consoled the dancer, left the club and joined the group. also finding Tim in the bathroom. He spotted a wallet on the ground that belonged to the would be victim. Scott, seeking vengeance and wanting to kill something, and Tim seeking vengeance as well, both decided that they would go to the address. Sasha joined them while Jack and Mike stayed at their own respective bars.
Arriving at the residence, the party did some recon. Scott noticed a window that was open, while Tim was hyper perceptive and knew which rooms the man’s little girl and wife were in. He cut the screen to the window and had some difficulty getting into the room. Sasha opened the door and then proceeded to walk in with Scott. Tim nearly sucked the wife dry, leaving her just enough blood to survive and Scott finished the job by shooting her point blank in the head. Sasha searched the place for any valuables and came up short. Scott wanted to kill the daughter of the man as well, but Tim forbid it. Their duty done, they left the scene.
Jack, who chose to stay at the Garage, saw that Barbie had resurfaced, and she had shown up with a strange man that was kindred as well. Jack called in backup, and Mike was there as the dance club had been less exciting when his girl left.
The man took notice of them and came over to introduce himself as the Doctor, Claus Ackman; he was very composed. He handed Jack a business card before introducing himself to Mike who promptly told him to buzz off.
Scott and company, meanwhile, sped back to the Delta district to deal with Barbie once again. Scott got a boost on top of a nearby building from Tim and took up position with his sniper rifle. The rest of the coterie then went into the bar.
Tim reacquainted himself with Barbie, and got her number, while the Doctor continued to creep out the party, and then said he and Barbie had to go. He offered for Tim to join them.
Eager to take his shot, Scott had Barbie in his cross hairs when his world went fuzzy and dark. He had images of Barbie and the oddly now familiar doctor in his head. He was awakened when Timmy threw a coin and broke his concentration.
Upset over not being able to take his shot, Scott stormed off and started driving around town shooting signs and other things until he got pulled over. The cop told him to get out of the car, to which Scott responded by firing a round off at him, hitting him in the shoulder.
A second cop got out of the car, a kindred cop, and told him to give up. The resulting chase ended with Scott being taken down, and then brought in front of the Sherriff of the city. The sherriff said that if he wasn’t friends with Malik, he would be dead already, but he would leave it up to Vinnie to determine his fate. In the meantime his possessions were taken and he was sent to walk home.
Sasha and Mike ended up heisting cars, a honda accord and an el camino. Brian got a ride home, and Tim went home to proceed in changing public records on Mike’s car.
The night ended with a bang.
