Dungeons and Dragons: The Nick Version

So roll a d6, roll a d6.

Yes, we have the video to thank for getting folks on the bandwagon for a rousing adventure in the world of Dungeons and Dragons.  While it will not be immediate (Phantom City’s conclusion takes precident here) I will be posting bits of the new world as it goes.

As is usual with my games, I don’t like playing pre-generated worlds.  So I am creating my own.  This game will take place on the continent of Aelland, a land once ruled by the ancient forces of Elves and Dwarves.  After a great conflict, much of their knowledge was lost.  Then the forces of humans showed up on their shores.  So shortly after the conflict, the humans encountered little resistance and enslaved the native population.

Four centuries passed, when the savior of the enslaved came.  A Half-elf bard sang the Grand Tyrant asleep and slew him, usurping the crown for himself.  His first order was to free the enslaved.

Forty years have passed, and society is just now settling in.  Thus begins a new tale…
