Friday we had the epic rematch between Tau and Blood Angels, but this time with a twist. Last time it was Victor using the Tau and I used the Blood Angels, this time Victor was having Space Marine withdrawl and so we decided to switch armies. We rolled off for a battle mission and the Tau got to be the attackers. We randomly rolled the Space Marine mission Vanguard, which was an objective based game with two objectives and the special rule was all infantry models on the attackers side counted as scoring units. I won’t go to in depth on tactics but the tau were saved by the fact that I didn’t have all the models I wanted, which left me with enough points to give shield generators to alot of my suits.
