So i decided to do a little bit of modelling to take my mind off the million zombies i have to finish still. It wasn’t an original idea of mine but i liked it and had to do a few for the clubs use. So here it is. I made a couple of these to figure out how well they would work, and I must say that I was quite impressed. The effect looks good in normal light and even better when the light is turned down low. I can’t wait to use these in game. I’m sure they will add that extra bit of reality that makes the game amazing. Let me know what you think.
They look amazing Omni. Are they made with those little flickering tea lights?
Yeah I used electric tea lights for the fire effect and pillow batting for the smoke. They are fairly easy to make, I’m thinking of making about 12 for the club for those really vehicle heavy games.
