Aelland-Update

So yesterday was a blast.  Today I am exhausted.

The party was on the mission to destroy the vile threat of the Green Dragon before he could be returned, and as an added bonus, Omnidevil joined back up on game night.

It was a blast to have everyone there, and to my surprise, at the end of the game it was 2 in the morning.  All I can say is look for the report on it.  It should be well worth reading.

Noki-Ratscuffle

Ratscuffle crawled out of the Gutted Net, a tavern that catered to the cesspool of footpads and brawlers of the wharf district.  He had to move quickly so that the gold he had collected from the odd group of topsiders would be put to good use.  It would be nice to get his sloop back on the water.  And for what a commission.  Two gold a head and ten as a retainer to be on reserve if they needed him again.  All that he needed was to get Breaknose to fix his boat.

Aelland- The Travels to Noki

And so our merry group got together after a luxurious vacation in the tinker gnomes’ residence.  They had fully healed up and decided it was probably safer to evacuate the premises before a major explosion happened.  (They had been hearing lots of explosions throughout the week of failed steam powered devices.) Flyer FAQ for the Doom Scythe and the Death Ray

Fliers are in for 6th edition and they have added a new layer to the game, which added more rules. As Victor and myself have nothing better to do with the construction slowing down business, we have been discussing the rules that concern this new and exciting addition to the game. Continue reading

Flyer Mayhem Part 2

Well after another night of painting I have basically finished my Dakkajet. The only thing left to do is the weathering, and unfortunately my weathering powders haven’t arrived yet. I am planning on starting my Burna Bomma tonight, assuming I remember to stop and pick up some super glue on my way home. Continue reading

Flyer Mayhem!!!!

With 6th edition in full swing and flyers now a thing I have decided to expand the Waaaagh!   and add a couple of flyers to my ork army. Yesterday I picked up two of the new GW kits for the Ork Bommers. The kit can make 3 different kinds of flyers; the dakkajet, the burna bomma and the diva bomma. I will be making 2 different variants the dakkajet and the burna bomma. And after a session of modelling last night I have one of them built and base coated. Continue reading

The Tinkerer’s House- Aelland Campaign Recap

I’ve been intending to update this a bit sooner, but things at work have been busy. So the players had a little combat, and they all accused me of trying to kill them. Honestly I wasn’t that cruel, they only suffered a few minor cuts and bruises, but any good storyteller will tell you, sometimes the players will over emphasize such things. On to the game:

Racial Statements Pertaining to the new Rules- Xenos and Human

So, I was assigned by Atlantis Gaming Group to get an official statement from each of the races on their feelings about the new rule changes.  You wouldn’t believe how hard it was to get them all to arrive, but using our considerable clout within the WH40K community, I got dignitaries from every major group. Warhammer 6th Edition Review: Rules Part One

It is the grim dark future and there is only war. That is the message for Warhammer 40,000, and I don’t see any end to it in the latest release of the core rules, 6th edition.

Hey everyone, AgnosticGod here with an in depth look at the new rulebook for our favorite grim-dark futuristic table-top war game. Over this series of review articles I plan on covering the different sections of the new core rules by Games Workshop. Follow along as I delve into the Rules, the Background and Fighting a Battle sections in the new book. Continue reading

Warhammer 40K 6th ed.

This weekend I was invited to join Victor in a test run on the 6th ed rules.  AG and Victor had a previous run, and so I benefitted from their prior experience in the set (check out youtube for our primary video).  All in all I was pleased with the rules set and believe it makes the playing field a bit more level.  Below are the detailed reasons why.
