Daemons in the 40k Universe
Well I have once again expanded my forces, this time with the addition of the chaos-y goodness that is Daemons. I have set the army up to play Warhammer 40k but with the help of some special movement trays they just might find their way through the warp to the world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. I have already managed to get in two games with my Daemons, the first against Space Marines was a solid win though the footage of the game was unfortunately lost in the Warp. My second game was against the Tau Empire and it was a close game that showed just how solid shooting has become in the new meta of 6th Edition. Continue reading

Fear the Dread Mob
So I have decided to return to my first love… Orks. I am going to be starting up a Dread Mob list build, which is a forgeworld list found in Imperial Armor 8. The list features the kind of Ork army any Mek would wet himself over including tons of Deff Dreads, armies of Killa Kans, swarms of Grot Tanks and enough dakka to make a stinkin’ Loota grin. I am starting up with the Deff Dreads. As they are a troop choice in this list and can be taken in squads of up to 3, I will end up needing about 8 more than I already have. Continue reading

Well after another night of painting I have basically finished my Dakkajet. The only thing left to do is the weathering, and unfortunately my weathering powders haven’t arrived yet. Flyer Mayhem!!!!
With 6th edition in full swing and flyers now a thing I have decided to expand the Waaaagh! and add a couple of flyers to my ork army. Yesterday I picked up two of the new GW kits for the Ork Bommers. The kit can make 3 different kinds of flyers; the dakkajet, the burna bomma and the diva bomma. I will be making 2 different variants the dakkajet and the burna bomma. And after a session of modelling last night I have one of them built and base coated. Continue reading
