Purging the City, A continued tale from the eyes of a Bard

Our story this week features Sasha the Paladin, Bragor the Cleric, Trogdor the Barbarian, Ash-harr the Wizard, Gnoc the Monk, and of course Soveliss the amazing Bard.

The dwarven temple was silent aside from the faint sounds of scurrying that the smaller golems made as they moved around, going about tasks set for them many hundreds of years ago. I had been left behind the previous night when the rest of the party had gone into the city below and with everybody ready to go down a second time I would not remain above again. The Halfling was nowhere to be found as we started down the stairs and refused to show his self when we called out for him. Knowing that he had probably found something shiny to distract himself we decided to continue on without the Rogue to finish purging the Dwarven city and collect whatever treasures that might remain there.

Game Recap, Aug 27th (played 3/9)

The coterie was bearing down on Neves, and they knew it.  It was a matter of time until there would be a confrontation.  The only question is who would come out alive. Continue reading

Game Recap- Friday, Aug 26th (played Feb 24th)

So we had quite a game this week.  Malik missed out on a massive game as several events came to a close.  The arch nemesis of the group, Neves, was finally slain in a brutal combat by Timmy.  Then B won the Gangrel Moot for the position of Primogen.  (quite scary, a B with responsibility). The events of August 25th, 2011

Prior Game notes (played 1/26)

Going from my rough memory of the night (I left my notes at home):

Malik had returned from some business he was attending to and was trying to set up a meeting with Justice Pate.  The group got together and filled Malik in on what he had missed (even if linked with B mentally for a night). Continue reading

WWMD-Phantom City

Oh yes, WWMD, those magic letters kept sanity this round.  What do they mean?  Well it doesn’t involve WMD’s , otherwise ask one of the group.  I honestly think the gods of Chaos got control of this game.  (B had several shining moments during the round).

Game: (played 12/4)

Ok, so I don’t have my notes with me so here goes the on the fly:  We played Squig hoppers for the first portion and had the pre-sessions.   Absent for the roleplay was Matt who plays the vampire Scott. Continue reading

Aug 20th, 2011 (played 12/14)

Yet another busy game session in which the action was mental but intense.  We were short 3 players as Malik was off on business in real life, B had a very early shift, and Scott didn’t show.  Continue reading

Aug 18th, 2011: (played 11/30)

The game was absolutely intense.  We started out with the pre session and then jumped right into the meat of the story.  It ended up becoming more than I expected out of an evening and was a pleasant surprise.  It truly proves how much can get done when combat isn’t the primary focus.
